A change of pace.

We opened the cellar door with a three-month-old baby in tow. We worked non-stop to get it off the ground and genuinely loved sharing our version of hospitality with you. Between an incredible team and our loyal regulars, the cellar door has been a constant bright spot in a pretty chaotic world. We aren’t closing the business, contract distilling is busier than ever. But 2026 is going to look a bit different. For now, we’re closing the cellar door. Our girls are nearly three and four, and it’s becoming very clear how little time we have before school and their own adventures begin.

We started all of this with seven days of maternity (and less paternity) leave for each of our kids. It feels like the right moment to slow down, follow them around, and pick up some sticks.

Bottle swaps are still on. If the sign’s out and the roller door’s up, pop in, swap your bottle, and say hello. Production life might be a little rough around the edges - IBCs, barrels, yoga pants and all - but we’d still love to see you. x

Typically we are on site Monday, Tuesday, Thursday and Friday - 9am till 4pm, for bottle swaps. feel free to send us a text message on 0403 891 642 before you come past to make sure we aren’t camping :)
